Product DescriptionThe OPERA Platea's cabinet is made from solid hardwood, fully interlocked and braced in the traditional furniture-making manner. To complement the high standard of the Platea's cabinet, excellent drive units are used. The 25 mm doped silk dome treble unit is made by Seas of Norway to Opera's particular requirements, and has good detail resolution, sound dispersion and sweetness. The 130 mm bass/midrange unit is a custom designed unit with copolymer cone and a generous chassis/magnet construction, giving good speed and damping. The overall sensitivity level is a generous 89 dB, with a nominal 6 Ohm impedance which together ensure an easy load for any amplifier. Finishes Available: Mahogany / Cherry.
